Home Office praise Ontrac

On July 22nd Ontrac was responsible for organising a prestigious conference on Young People and Crime at Lord’s Cricket Ground, jointly hosted by the Home Office, the Ministry of Justice and the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

The 300 delegates were able to join a Plenary Q&A session with Alan Johnson, Home Secretary, Jack Straw, Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor and Ed Balls, Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families. There was also an address by Sara Payne, the Government’s Victims’ Champion.

Danny Lafayette MBE, from the Home Office’s Violent Crime Unit said: “Ontrac provided an excellent service both in the event and actual delivery. Their team was always accessible, helpful and professional in meeting our requirements, and prepared to adapt to any last minute changes which events of this nature present”.
